2025-2026 Education Committee

Specific Charge

The Education Committee is charged with leading ACSA’s efforts to improve the effectiveness of architectural education through best practices and overseeing programs to cultivate and disseminate these best practices.

In 2025-26, the committee will focus on the expanded ecosystem of architectural education by mapping and staging discussions about educational outcomes for four year degree programs, understanding that these programs are diverse in their aims and scope. Therefore, the goal is not to provide a generic set of educational outcomes but to analyze commonalities and differences to begin to focus on opportunities for alignment and transparency across these programs. The outcomes should be mapped in relation to professional and disciplinary competencies, including but not limited to the NCARB competency framework for licensure.

Deliverables will include webinars in the fall and winter, sessions at the Administrators Conference and Annual Meeting, and a written report at the end of the year.
