The School of Architecture at The Chinese University of Hong Kong is seeking an outstanding candidate to provide academic leadership for its new Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA) Programme, to plan its launch in the academic year 2026-27. Applicants should possess (i) a professional Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Planning, Architecture, Environmental Studies or a related discipline; and (ii) and not less than 4 years (with professional registration) or 6 years (without professional registration) of practical experience in architecture.

Preference will be given to candidates with international recognition in the field; and/or an active research agenda and/or design practice that addresses pressing environmental, ecological and urban challenges in the Asian region. We are particularly interested in candidates who can contribute to the development of interdisciplinary teaching that connect landscape architecture with allied built environment disciplines, including, but not limited to, Architecture, Urban Design and Planning.

Appointments will initially be made on fixed-term contract basis for two years commencing January 2026, renewable subject to performance, funding availability and mutual agreement.
