The act of repairing and reconstructing is the most challenging phase of an adaptive reuse project. The Granger Annex highlights the complexity of renovating older buildings for modern functionality. This project examines adaptive reuse from three stages in the process: the design approach, construction challenges that are specific to adaptive reuse, and educational tools that emerge from the completed work.
